Core Courses
You will need to complete four core courses and two elective courses to secure your AcED.
Core courses are:
* Introduction to Development * Maori economic development * Business retention and growth * Regional economic development
When you have completed all core and elective courses you will be asked to write a paper that outlines an example of how you have implemented what you have learnt from the AcED courses. You will also be asked to attend an online interview with two of the learning facilitators.
Learners are encouraged to attend the new 'Putting professionalism into practice' elective if they are near completion of the AcED since it assists learners to prepare for the paper and interview.
Elective Courses
You will need to complete two elective courses and four core courses to secure your AcED.
Selective courses are:
* Destination management * Evidence for ED - beyond GDP * Contemporary issues in economic development * Trade and Investment * Cluster development
* Economic Gardening * Putting the professionalism into practice * From monitoring to evaluation - a virtuous cycle
În 2020 additional elective courses will also be offered.
What price works for you?
Remember if you are an individual member of EDNZ the cost of every course is $340 each. If you are a corporate member of EDNZ the cost of every course is $270. If you are not a member of EDNZ the cost of each course is $540. Become a member of EDNZ before you book so that you can take advantage of the discount immediately.
